“For older South Australians who are impacted by social distancing and who are not fully connected by social media and technology, this time can be especially hard.
It just might be time to connect with your loved ones by revisiting a long-lost art of the past – letter writing!
From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of viruses don’t survive long on letters or parcels. However, we should all be extra careful and make sure we are washing our hands frequently.
So if you were wondering whether it was a good idea to have the kids send nanna or papa a letter, or a drawing, it is safe and it’s encouraged!
Plus, it’s a great activity to keep the kids busy.
